Midterm Exam 2

The second midterm exam will be given on Thursday, 11/13, 9:30-10:50 AM in Math Building 122 (i.e. our usual classroom). The scope of the exam corresponds to sections 11-16 of the lecture notes and homework assignments 6-8.

You can bring and use during the exam lecture notes for this course and your own notes (including homework assignments). No textbooks or electronic devices are allowed.

• Homework solutions need to be submitted though UBLearns.

Note.

• Homework should be submitted as a single pdf file. If you are submitting hand-written solutions, you can scan them to pdf using e.g. Notes app on iPhone or Google Drive app on Android phones. Solution of each problems should start on a new page.
• I will add 20% extra points to your homework score for homework solutions typeset using LaTeX. A zip file with LaTeX homework template is available here, but you are not required to use it to get the extra credit.
